Ok, continuing in the weird cleaning series is a “letter to Heloise” where this lady is concerned about getting her chihuahua’s teeth cleaned.
Well I’ve seen the dog washing vans running around town, but cleaning their teeth? That takes it to a whole ‘nother level.
And by the way, we DON’T clean any dogs as part of our Norcross commercial janitorial services but we DO take our services and professionalism to a whole ‘nother level because we are a 20+ year old company locally owned and managed (not a franchise) so we care about our clients
– even though you have to do your own dog cleaning.
Here’s the entertaining quote from the article:
Dental cleaning for pets a routine procedure: Heloise
http://www.goerie.com/entertainmentlife/20181006/dental-cleaning-for-pets-routine-procedure-heloise
“Dear Heloise: I’m scared. My Chihuahua is having a professional dental cleaning soon. What can you tell me about this? — Heather R. in San Antonio”
Heloise’s advice ends with something we can relate to,
because we love chihuahuas too:
“Give your little Chihuahua a big Heloise hug. — Heloise”
Now give us a call for our great professional Norcross commercial janitorial service, and we’ll guarantee that although we don’t clean dogs, it won’t be no dog of a service for you. :)

Radioactive Cleaning - How Hot is THAT??
This article is titled "Woman finds radioactive material while cleaning basement" and it's a really hot story: "NAPERVILLE, Ill. (AP) — A brown package with a label warning it contained radioactive material has been found in the basement of a suburban Chicago home.
Naperville Fire Division Chief Amy Scheller says hazmat teams tested the item and determined it did contain radioactive material but not at levels considered dangerous."
https://www.abc57.com/news/woman-finds-radioactive-material-while-cleaning-basement
Well that's good to hear that it was not considered dangerous, but the article goes on to mention that the brown paper package had been in the basement for 30 years!
Cleaning is very important for work environments and peace of mind - certainly nothing in your office's trashcans will be radioactive but still its nice to know that you get your office property cleaned nightly by professionals, right? No leaving things needing to be thrown away for 30 years?
Ok, good, got that settled.;)
We gotcha covered - for everything up to (but not including) hazmat-level cleaning. Call us today 770-502-5539

Should You Sealcoat Or Repave Your Asphalt Driveway?
Homeowners need to understand the importance of maintenance of their properties – that includes their driveway among other things. Taking care of your properties is definitely no easy task but if know how to do it efficiently, you can save a lot of time and money. Your driveway isn’t always the easiest thing to maintain in your home. You need to know when to seal coat or simply have it repaved. Knowing the right time is crucial in maintaining your asphalt driveway.
Basic Information About Driveway Maintenance
Thankfully, you’ve come to the right article. Your driveway is an important part of your home. Sadly, there is very little information regarding driveway maintenance. If you want to fix your driveway, you need to trust your common sense because there isn’t really that much helpful information out there.
Fortunately for you, Akron Asphalt Paving is here to help you. We will answer all the important questions that our customers would ask. At Akron Asphalt Paving, we offer many different types of services to cater to our wide variety of customers. We are all about maintaining and repairing your driveway using the latest and newest technology available.
The most common question we receive concerns maintaining and repairing an asphalt driveway, obviously. Most of our customers are concerned on whether they only need repair or need a new asphalt driveway altogether.
Renovate or Get a New Asphalt Driveway?
If the area has areas where the pavement is severely damaged or is clearly showing signs of degradation, this is the time where you need to consider getting new asphalt. One of the most obvious signs of severely damaged asphalt is the formation of alligator cracks. This crack is easily spotted because as the name suggests, it looks like the back on an alligator. This is when the pavement gets to the point where crack fill or seal coat can’t fill it anymore.
If you crack fill a patch of alligator cracks, there is a huge change that the pavement will get more damage. There’s a limit to how many crack fillings a patch of pavement can tolerate. A driveway that has been sealed over and over again for many years would cause severe alligator cracks. Some alligator cracks are easily fixed using a crack fill but some alligator cracks are too severe for it.

Home Cleaning 101: Carpet Cleaning Tips
Stained carpets are ugly and often don't smell great. Stains occur over time and you may not be able to remove certain stains after they have dried. When this happens to you, it is time to hire a carpet cleaning service. Take a look at this article for tips that can help you hire a cleaning company.
Vacuum your carpet before cleaning it. Use a good vacuum cleaner for eliminating loose dirt prior to having cleaning products or water put on the carpet. Your carpets won't get clean if there is a lot of loose dirt laying around. A professional carpet cleaning can restore your carpet to its original state.
You can easily use too much heat on your carpet, so you should hire a pro. Heat can ruin carpets that are delicate. This is even more critical when you're trying to get rid of a stain before it becomes permanent.
Know that certain chemicals used in products to clean your carpet could expose your family to deadly substances. You must read cleaning product labels every time. Also think about green solutions like salt, baking soda or vinegar applications for carpet rinsing.
When hiring a carpet cleaning company, ask if the technicians have to undergo any formal training. Many companies use specific methods and products, and you want to make sure the technician knows how to use those things properly. Misusing chemicals can damage your carpets, and methods that are not used correctly can lead to carpets remaining dirty.
Consider purchasing a high quality carpet cleaner for your home if you plan to keep your carpeting for a long time. These cleaners can be quite expensive, but if you compare them with the cost of hiring a professional, it can be very reasonable. Just think how nice it would be to remedy a stain right away instead of waiting for someone else to do it for you.
Check the Internet for coupons offered by a carpet cleaning company. Carpet cleaning can get very pricy, so you can use all of the savings you can get. Many companies offer first-time customers coupon online and sometimes, even in local newspapers. Tell the company you have a coupon before giving payments.
Ask about any additional services that are offered by prospective carpet cleaning companies. Most will offer upholstery cleaning for an additional charge. Some companies will also include services such as cleaning your porch, patio and grout. This will save you from hiring multiple companies to provide you with these services.
The stains in your carpet may be unsightly, but this can be solved. A carpet cleaning company is only one call away. Every tip you've read here should serve you well. Hire a cleaning company and eliminate those stains forever.
